I would, from time to time, like to share feedback I get from my customers. Here is one that I just received today...
"THANK-YOU! I received my jacket today. FANTASTIC!!!!!!!! I can't stop looking at it. The red color is a beautiful deep red, the Border Collie is perfect. Thanks for all your help with size and added embroidery......

BUYER BEWARE! - Not all digitizing is alike

Here is a design I digitized a while back. This was a logo that a customer brought and wanted me to do some hats for them. They actually brought me the disk with the logo already digitized for embroidery. However, after sewing out a sample I decided to digitize it myself.
This is what the original sewout looked like. It is all I had to work with when I re-digitized the design. As you can see not all digitizing is the same. I have high quality digitizing software to work with that is pretty pricey. This original design was created with an inexpensive software package. It takes the right combination of good sotware and experience to produce good quality embroidery.

This is my daughter on my horse Josie. I got Josie when she was 7 months old. She was my first horse. She was born in 2001 and in this picture she is jumping for the first time at a show. It was pretty funny because it was a small hunter/jumper show with these nice BIG thoroughbreds and then there was my little buckskin quarter horse. She kind of looked out of place but she did great. I got her in the fall of 2001 and in the spring of 2002 I saw Pat Parelli at Equine Affaire and was blown away. I knew right then and there that I wanted that kind of relationship with my horse. I've done all the work on her using Parelli methods. Unfortunately I don't have the time or money to do what I would like to do with her but we've come a long way.

Lets try this again
It's hard to believe but it's been 2 years since I started this blog and I've only created 2 postings. I'm going to try this again.I've been busy trying to build my website and have been selling on ebay. I'd like to get the website going and slowly eliminate ebay.
I've been working on a lot of tote bags. They're pretty fun to do and I love the designs I have to work with. Here is a picture of one of the tote bags I've recently done. Pretty nice design.

Exclusive Cotton Throws

Here is something really cool that we offer! This is a B'Russell Sprouts Wear exclusive! We currently have 21 different breeds. These are nice, big heavyweight cotton throws. Not the flimsy little things you get at Wal-Mart. I can even embroider personalization on them to make them extra special! Check out all the breeds we have on the website.
I started with the Alaskan Malamute. At the time I was showing and wanted to show the diversity of the breed. That is also the goal I had in mind for the breeds that followed. Everyone has loved them and comment on the quality. Many have said it's better than they expected. In time I hope to have comments from customers on this blog. In the meantime you can read the positive feedback I have from my ebay store.

My first blog!
This is my first attempt at blogging. I decided since everyone else was doing it why shouldn't I. Mostly this is to be about my business. However, since I have a website (http://www.superiorstitch.com/) and that is not personal, I will make this a little more personal.
Everyone wants to know where did the name B'Russell Sprouts Wear come from???? Well..... my maiden name is Russell and I have 2 sisters. When we were growing up we had an Aunt that used to send us cards and address them to Mr. & Mrs. Russell & Sprouts. When we started this business my sisters were involved and we wanted something to reflect the 3 of us. Now I'm the only one left with the business. We really live too far away from each other to make it work well.
I have 2 single head and one 4 head machine so I'm set up to do all sizes of orders. No order is too big or too small. I do all kinds of embroidery including businesses, schools, clubs, organizations, individuals... I have over 25,000 stock designs to choose from and state of the art editing and digitizing software so I truly have something for everyone. I love to embroider animals and have always had an obcession with animals so this is a way to combine my work with my passion.
I will try to hit upon different topics about the embroidery process in future posts. It's always good to get the best for your money. There are a lot of embroidery businesses out there. Some good and some bad. I don't know about you, but when I pay $70 for a jacket I want to make sure that it's going to be a quality product. My goal here is to assure you that my products and embroidery are high quality.
I will also be posting some about our family. My husband and I have 2 great teenage kids. From time to time they do things that I'm proud of so this gives me a place to share.
I think that's enough for my first blog attempt.
Until next time!
Cathy
